Concrete grinding uses a specialized machine with diamond tip blades to remove rough uneven or contaminated surfaces. It is a quick posses and can be much cheaper than replacement. For uneven and heaved slabs it is a good temporary fix to remove a trip hazard. for some coating jobs it is necessary to prep the surface for accepting the coating. After grinding it will leave a smooth surface with aggregate exposed creating a new look. for out side surfaces this can be very slippery in the winter so we do not recommend doing large areas with out applying some sort of coating or traction cuts.
